Below is a list of some programming and curriculum tips from Missouri Accreditation:

 

Building blocks should be part of the preschool classroom environment, they offer open-ended learning through play and have significant cognitive, motor benefits for children of all ages. Child development can be enhanced with block play, providing the time, space, materials, allowing children to be successful, fail and start over again, children can gain confidence and learn problem -solving skills.  Children of all stages of development can play with blocks, and as their skill advances to will the level of creation, from two or three.
